Here is my entry for last years Canimation Competition, animated with Todd Setter. Was great to do some proper traditional pencil and paper 2D animation.
A little experiment taking photos of poses and making a basic rig in Maya to animate them. I think it has quite a unique look to it. I may advance this technique in the future.
I did this short test for the band Crystal Fighters. They didn’t go for it, but I was pleased with this test all the same!
Sky-Caper is the short film I produced while at Bournemouth University. Screened at the Edinburgh International Film festival, Animated Exeter and Bournemouth Big Screen.Todd and I put in hundreds of hours, but the difficulty of working with 2D alongside the 3D was well worth it.
