This project was a true labor of love. As an F1 fan for over 15 years the season of 2009 saw one of the sports greatest underdog triumphs. In this video I had the pleasure to write, direct and present a thorough retrospective and bring the story to life with 3D and motion graphics in a way that had never been done before.
Working with a team of talented designers and animators, we brought the car back to life and stripped it down to delve into the technical details that made it such a success. To add to this, we pulled hundreds of the images out of the archive and brought them to life with 2.5D animation. The video went on to be one of the most successful videos on Autosport’s Youtube channel, with incredibly positive fan engagement.
